East Renfrewshire Council (ERC) have announced that pavement parking will be banned from 5 January 2026 with £100 fines for those that breach these restrictions. This includes the streets and access road around WEC.

During School Hours:

Only park legally and safely in designated cark parks.

These are:

Car park 1 (top right side of building)

Car park 2 (green area to left of building)

Car park 3 (lower car park)

No cars should be parked on access road or in OLM school car park during school hours.

If all of the car parks are full, please park legally and safely in the football pitches car park and then in the Rouken Glen Garden Centre’s Car Park.

Free flowing access for emergency vehicles must be kept at all times.

During Non-School Hours:

Park as outlined above. The OLM school car park can only be used during non-school hours only. If you are unsure, please ask WEC parking volunteers.
